The landlord is responsible for having the apartment in good condition at the start of the lease and keeping it in good condition during the lease. According to legislation, the landlord is liable for normal wear and tear. However, the tenant must take good care of the apartment in their possession. The tenant is fully liable for any damages caused by the tenant or by their guests, whether unintentional or intentional.
