Normal wear and tear

Normal wear and tear refers to the wear and tear that gradually takes place in an apartment over time, such as the aging of floor and wall surfaces, without any materials being handled or treated incorrectly. Normal wear and tear takes place regardless of who resides in the apartment. The tenant is not liable for normal wear and tear, unless the parties have made a separate agreement with the tenant assuming liability.
