In principle, we are all legally competent individuals, fit to make various legal transactions, such as lease agreements. However, it may be that an individual’s legal capacity has been limited by law or a court decision. An incapacitated person means a person under the age of eighteen (18), or an adult individual declared legally incapacitated by a court decision.
