Credit information

Landlord has the right to run a credit check for a prospective tenant before entering into a lease agreement. During the lease, a credit check without tenant’s permission is permitted only for the purpose of planning for debt collection in cases where the tenant has, for instance, neglected to pay rent. The landlord should always run the credit check personally.
