Responsibility for the maintenance of the housing company’s building and other facilities is divided between the shareholders and the housing company in accordance with the Limited Liability Housing Companies Act, unless otherwise provided in the articles of association. These regulations provide an answer e.g. to who is liable for structural damages or for a replacing an old broken toilet seat.
